Specialising in Tapas, the concept at Volare is to provide delicious, home made, Mediterranean influenced dishes in a beautiful, cosy atmosphere served by friendly, helpful staff.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Martin and Nicola Corless, Volare first opened it’s doors for business in February 1997.These owners are as genuinely passionate about their business as you can ever imagine. They adore this business and all the folks that enter in to it. They’ve nurtured it, over the years, from a little seed into a masterclass of enjoyable dining with true, top rate customer service. This only happens when an owner takes care of and works alongside their staff which is what you’ll see at Volare.
The restaurant is situated on a village high street with stunning vistas of Emley Moor and gorgeous Yorkshire countryside.
Where possible, the menu is carefully sourced from local ingredients; local suppliers are used and the fantastic Volare staff all live within the local community.
Volare is fully licensed, has a fully stocked bar and a superb wine list. We have recently customised our bar and we are now proudly serving draught beers, our lager is Barcelona’s Estrella Damn and we also pour a gorgeous Shipyard American Pale Ale.
Desserts are also a must have – nearly all are home made (we can certainly recommend our legendary homemade Tiramisu) and we do make fabulous liqueur coffees!
From an award-winning Halloumi cheese to juicy, plump, fresh Scottish mussels and tender, melt in your mouth fillet steak (from a local butcher), Volare provides great value, a special ambience and a dining experience to fully enjoy. Please see TripAdvisor for references!
We do advise you to reserve a table. At the weekends we do get fully booked and during the week we’d like your help, if you can book in as early as possible, so we can aim to get our staff levels just right.
